Just changed theme. Does it work for you?R's Commonplace Book – God in the details http://randal.us/Just noticed they do stuff with Google. Reckon the fonts are tied to the beast?

I looked at the code and it has a reference to Google fonts. So I installed a plugin to remove Google fonts. I see the monospace font changed to one I have on my laptop. Wish I could load this font for everybody. Is that a hard thing to do?

Complicated process for a non-techie to load one's own font to a site.

@zudn Wordpress is complicated. I have a site with it, but I don't deal with it often. It annoys me too much.

@zudn I just started my blog a couple of months ago, and used WP, which was a huge learning curve in itself. I wanted (a) different font(s) and couldn't make it happen. Hats off to you!

@zudn DIY custom fonts is a PITA not even getting into the legal rights side. Typekit (now Adobe) is an option if you want to move from Google (fryingpan into fire). Also some of the font foundries have their own solutions to purchase their fonts for online use.

@JeffPaetkau Yeah, from what I read it involves uploading and then code. Not for me.
