@parasurv @kelbot @leadore The Taeykeyboards channel is a good one. He's fairly known in the community. :)

Paging @hund , if I'm unsure what size of mechanical keyboard and what kind of switches I would like what is a good way to try to figure that out?

@kelbot I would say either a TKL or possibly 65% if you're okay with having the F-row on a secondary layer. TKL is a safe bet, you only need to figure out if you need a numpad or not. External ones is better anyway, they just block the mouse anyway.Regarding switches, I would probably say Cherry MX Brown. I don't like Cherry or tactile switches myself, but I think that most like tactile switches. And Cherry MX is the widely available and a good starting point for someone new into the hobby. :)

@hund @kelbot I like the MX Browns (I've only used various Cherry switches, so I have no non-Cherry reference). One tip would be to go to a place that sells gaming keyboards. Corsair, SteelSeries, and Logitech all have models, and I think Razer does too. They might have some on display that you can play around with and at least get a feel for the switches. The Logitech G710+ uses Cherry browns for example.
