@selea It feels like you're more hyped about your stats than the purpose of it. ;)

@kev >Want to blog on my iPad? I can. Want to do it on my phone? No problem. On a machine I don’t normally use? Not an issue, as long as it has a browser.I sometimes write posts on my phone, which I sync using Nextcloud Notes. I only do when I travel by train and have some time to kill. Writing on a touchscreen is a pain in the a**.>The world is mobile first these day, like it or not […]Says who? You might be mobile first, but it doesn't make the world mobile first. :)

@kev I didn't mean the opposite either. What I meant is that some services and some websites are XYZ only. A lot of users use crap like Instagram and a lot of users only use the mobile only, but it doens't mean the planet is mobile only. I know A LOT of users who's anything but mobile only, or even a a tiny bit mobile to beging with. :)

@mike COBOL is cool. It's funny how much is still running it, like all ATM machines in the US. :P

@friend @EmeraldArcher Tiling beyond the basics? No offense, it looks like you know nothing about tiling window managers, so please think twice before you say anything bad about it.Also. What are you talking about? A window manager does one thing; it manages windows. If you want to manage you wireless network you need a wireless network tool for that and so on.

@kev PHP needs to execute the code, output the code and then the webserver can send the data. HTML is static and the webserver can instantly send the data. There's no way that a dynamic website is faster or equally fast as a static website.

@cameron Hugo is just a framework for generating static content, so I see no reason it shouldn't work as long as you stay with plain HTML. :)

@isak @Ghosty It's better as it should be more generic than an web browser that has addons, cookies and what not to identify you with. I would highly recommend youtube-viewer for Linux.

@megriffin I don't use one, I only use a window manager. I've been using i3 for years and I really like it.I like being able to efficiently use the keyboard for everything (the mouse is slow and it hurts my wrist). It's easy to use, fast, comes with a lot of features and it helps you make the most of what you have in every way possible. It's also very lightweight at around 3-4 MB of RAM usage.

@kelbot I would say either a TKL or possibly 65% if you're okay with having the F-row on a secondary layer. TKL is a safe bet, you only need to figure out if you need a numpad or not. External ones is better anyway, they just block the mouse anyway.Regarding switches, I would probably say Cherry MX Brown. I don't like Cherry or tactile switches myself, but I think that most like tactile switches. And Cherry MX is the widely available and a good starting point for someone new into the hobby. :)
