Teachers are ready to quit rather than put their lives at risk - buzzfeednews.com/carolineodono...Does it really make sense at this point in the Brave New Covid World to hold back opening schools, and by extension companies and the economy because some teachers are afraid? The vast majority of teachers under 50 will be fine as will the kids. For those over 60 at risk, perhaps implement remote teaching or time for retirement. I think we need to get on with life as Covid isn’t going away soon.

@hyperfocal I totally agree with you. They should reopen schools once things are stable and practice social distancing within schools. There's only so much kids can learn through online classes. They're missing all their friends and peer interaction. My kids feel demotivated after 3 months of online sessions. They're due back to school in September. We're all in a new normal now. There's no way things will go back to the way they were before the pandemic.
