Well it turns out I might have killed the micro SD card by regularly rebooting #pi without using `sudo halt`. Hence, the frequent LAN issues and regular app crashes. That seems more likely now that I can't even repair the card.Going to attach an m2.SATA SSD instead of writing to the SD card. This SD card is a cheap one. Perhaps a better quality card from Sandisk/Kingston might run longer but SSD gives more storage and is a much safer option.

@thumb interesting. I was planning on getting one of those pi build kit that comes with an sd card for my pi hole/vpn. Would this be an issue?

@Timwebdev I also had a kit which came with a no brand micro SD card. The SD cards are not built for frequent writes. I was using log2ram to save SD card I/O's but had too many app crashes nevertheless and I did too many careless `sudo reboot'. I had pi-hole, Gitea, Linkding, Komga and Watchdog running.I would suggest going the m2 SATA SSD route - https://blog.mivia.dk/solved-sd-card-corrupted-raspberry-pi/

@thumb have you tried one of those power hats that adds a button for safely shutting down the pi without corrupting the sd card?

@daz Nope. I attached an m.2 SATA SSD instead.
