The first step is to acknowledge our ontological chauvinism (lol while googling the term to see where it's been used, this paragraph is pretty great, never heard of this book before "Quantum Christian Realism". I think I lifted the term from Robert Anton Wilson)

@HappyWizard Wait, this broke my brain for a bit..."Ontology" refers to the study of being, while "chauvinism" refers to an extreme sense of patriotism, nationalism, or superiority and glory. So... this book was accusing people of having an extreme sense of superiority in a particular theory of being? That's an interesting accusation. I don't think I've heard of that before.

@carver Yeah, it's a fun phrase to think about, his use wasn't out of place either imho (having an "alternative" ontological framework myself)Here's the link to the book if anyone wants to flip thru:https://www.google.com/books/edition/Quantum_Christian_Realism/OPGaDwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22ontological%20chauvinism%22&pg=PA94&printsec=frontcover&bsq=%22ontological%20chauvinism%22
