Does anybody know a NoteCards, HyperCard or any other hypertext-based note-taking application that's still maintained?I'm of course aware of wikis (including TiddlyWiki) and wiki-like software (like Zim). And I want MOAR.For instance, on Symbolics LispMs there used to be Symbolics Concordia + Symbolics Document Examiner. Even the HyperSpec itself (although read-only) is a work of [hypertext] art.So - any pointers, hints, gossip? I'd love to know more about hypertext-based projects, esp. those focused on notes.#HyperText #NoteTaking #InformationDesign #InformationArchitecture #InformationMapping

@pfm There's quite a hype about Roam because it combines bidirectional links and transclusion within an outliner: https://roamresearch.com/However they've recently announced outrageous pricing to deal with scaling issues so there are alternatives popping up, like https://obsidian.md/ and https://github.com/athensresearch/athensAlso this list: https://nesslabs.com/roam-research-alternatives

@pfm Not exactly what you need, but have you taken a look at Storyspace? It's not FOSS and it's not general purpose, but it may be possible to repurpose it for some kinds of projects.http://www.eastgate.com/storyspace/index.html

@pfm I also stumbled upon this project called Roam, but I never really used it.https://medium.com/@mickmel/getting-started-with-roam-research-8b530015a38a

@haitch Thanks, I've heard about it (a few comments back in this thread) but will read the article with pleasure nonetheless.

@haitch I'm reading it and it seems like *the* thing to try!
