I have an 8 year-old I'd like to play a physical card game with, and have only a couple of criteria:1. Able to make low-investment to pick up playable decks/components2. Isn't solely about using resources to kill somethingWhat's good? ^_^https://talkgroup.xyz/t/card-games-for-kids/4543

@maiki I guess "cribbage" isn't the answer you're looking for.

@publius I'll take it!We play 52-card deck games, but I didn't explicitly ask for suggestions because there are so many. It's like asking for an RPG system versus a D&D module, ya know? However, I personally don't know cribbage, so it's on my list. ^_^ Thanks!

@maiki One of my aunts loves cribbage, & gave me a board years ago. You don't technically need one, but most folks like to have one.I think if I had someone who wanted to play card games with me, I'd pick tarot, because English-speaking people think it's this weird mystical thing, whereas in the Romance-language world it's the equivalent of bridge.

@publius I started reading the wiki article for cribbage and am totally sold! Thanks for the direction, this is right up our alley. ^_^
