       My 4 year old woke me up at 2am crying, saying she didn't want to sleep alone. Being the sucker I am, I slept on the floor of her bedroom for 2 hours just to make her happy. Today, I feel like I lost a very unfair boxing match. And I'm tired too.

       @mike if I had kids I'd probably just set them up in my room for the night in that scenario, then again that could also potentially lead to them not wanting to sleep in their own room

       @mikeWe've been smarter: Japanese wife, so our own 4 years old son's mattress is directly on the floor, like a Japanese futon. And besides his mattress there a bigger mattress for me or wife to sleep him. 😉
