Following on from my last post, a few people have asked why I think Zoho Mail is better than Gmail. Here are some of my reasons why:https://kevq.uk/reasons-why-zoho-mail-is-better-than-gmail/

@kev Thanks for sharing! Zoho Mail was actually one of the first services I migrated to when I started moving away from Google's in 2012 and I have been very happy with it ever since. In the beginning their stance on user privacy was what convinced me to sign up and even though the UI wasn't all too pretty in the beginning, I am delighted with the progress over the years!#zoho #zohomail #googlealternatives

@kevMaybe one should also mention that with a free account you not only get to use Zoho Mail but also other great tools like a full online office suite as well as several project management tools...BTW I really like the mobile layout of your blog! One of the few mobile sites I do not have to use Firefox's Reader mode 👏

@kev if Zoho came up with an alternative to Sheets/Docs, I’d seriously consider switching from GSuite.

@indie they have it. I believe their product actually pre-dates Google’s.https://www.zoho.com/docs/

@totoroot yeah, their old UI was pretty poor. When they released the new UI is when I started using webmail again.

@kev @totoroot - webmail is pretty good, but the admin stuff, and the app list you get if go in via the main login link is more than a bit cluttered. It'd be nice if they didn't show the ever increasing number of sales/marketing/hr app related things if you are only a mail customer. Many things suffer from this though... I moved from Office365 and it's not dissimilar.

@dctrud @totoroot yeah, that’s true. But once it’s all setup you rarely have to go into the admin console and the you go straight into webmail after the first run.
