       This is largely from something I posted elsewhere but it's been on my mind a lot lately and I'd like more people to read and consider it.If you're using all the terrified disabled people as a stick to beat whichever opposing faction you take issue with, left included, stop. I'm sick of being used as a cudgel against opponents when to most people we're an afterthought. It's how we were used repeatedly throughout this election and we've barely been considered outside of it.

       This morning I saw a Democrat scorning a Labour voter along the lines of 'if Corbyn had stepped down this wouldn't have happened, disabled people aren't going to survive this and its down to people like you.' It was the mostly darkly infuriating and unintentionally hilarious thing from all I've seen today.Labour supporters are doing this too, telling tories and people in their own party that they've paved the way for us to die by policy.

       I am begging for introspection on how disability is spoken of in politics. Are you just telling people about what's happening to disabled people to try and get a pang of guilt or empathy? Taking our personal stories to throw at people and not talking about structures we *need*, what has to change and be in place. Access rights, health care, social care and what's NEEDED not just what we're going through.l?Right now we're being used, not included.
