REMEMBER if you registered to vote but you don't have a polling card, *YOU CAN STILL VOTE.*Go along to your polling station and give them your name and address, they will find you on the roll. I forget mine a lot, I've never had a problem doing it this way.Also you absolutely do not need a pen, but it does not void your ballot if you opt to use one. This is largely from something I posted elsewhere but it's been on my mind a lot lately and I'd like more people to read and consider it.If you're using all the terrified disabled people as a stick to beat whichever opposing faction you take issue with, left included, stop. I'm sick of being used as a cudgel against opponents when to most people we're an afterthought. It's how we were used repeatedly throughout this election and we've barely been considered outside of it.

I am begging for introspection on how disability is spoken of in politics. Are you just telling people about what's happening to disabled people to try and get a pang of guilt or empathy? Taking our personal stories to throw at people and not talking about structures we *need*, what has to change and be in place. Access rights, health care, social care and what's NEEDED not just what we're going through.l?Right now we're being used, not included.
