@punkymcmunky There is a lot to discover on the fediverse, I have been here full time since I started about a month ago, love it.Got about 4 times the number of posts here, in one month, that I had on twitter, since 2011.Still sad to even check there, people don't react at all, too much going on. Here is much more friendly and fun, there are knowledgeable people to talk to. Great place for geeks like us.

@punkymcmunky There's a lot to see and do. I haven't even been reading the news like I lways used to.Learning new things, there's Mastodon, where we are here, plus other projects.To share video, like YT. To share music, photos, blog writings. Each instance is independant and has it's own theme, rules and 'feel'.Ours here is sci tech eng math, but not strictly enforced as mandatory for each post.I volunteered for a moderation job that is opening now, and have been nominated by our sys admin, @freemo, Dr Freeman in civilian life.

@punkymcmunky I have brought the cat pics.This is seb (short for sebastian, it was his internet name)I got him at the young age of about nine weeks, or so I thought. First thing I did when I got him was to bring him to a vet, who said he could be a big younger. Anyway he was really smol and I loved him sooo much :3He hurt his nose on a sharp cardboard edge.
