       @HebrideanHecate Holy shit. Gym I go to is open plan. There's one room they use for classes that's separate. I go early in the morning so there's not that many of us. About 5 or 6 blokes and about 4 or 5 women mixed ages. But I can say the bloke that owns it would make short work of anyone who harassed anybody for whatever reason. And toilets and cubicles are floor to ceiling self contained. Off now to pump some iron 💪

       @HebrideanHecate I already quit. I quit because of very rude men, trans natal males in women's spaces, and to a much smaller degree, rude women who do things like talk on the cell phone while on the treadmill next to me. I don't need to pay money for all that aggravation. I bought some home equipment and I'm doing MUCH more for my fitness now at a lower cost.

       @Chunderwoman Given you couldn't pay me to enter the portals of any gym, i can't say i have witnessed it! And if there's sport on TV i will hide in a cupboard to avoid it

       @HebrideanHecate  many moons ago I used to go to a small gym that had seperate days for men and women (Women M, W, F. Men T, T, S. Closed Sunday) It only had space for one changing room and sauna and seperate days was the only practical solution. More recently my mum went to a gym that was women only, and mostly older women at that. Can't imagine either place surving now, the TRAs would target them in a heartbeat.
