       Sri Lanka has confirmed once again tonight that its racist, Sinhala Buddhist agenda takes precedence over the lives of Tamils by electing a genocidal war criminal to the highest office of the land. I'm frozen with shock and pain. As a journalist, I should be reporting with tenacity, but this is bothering me beyond words. And that's me, from the Tamil diaspora. I can't even imagine how those currently in Eelam must be feeling right now.
