@goofysufi - I"m not sure what's up with #BernieOnMastodonSo many of us have emailed info@berniesanders.com & asked him to create his own server here. We drop comments in Team Bernie's threads on Twitter, I've signed up many 100s of Twitter Left people & yet - total silence from Bernie. I'm frustrated, angry & won't stop until he does this. None of us should take silence for an answer. Not when Twitter censorship could "lose" Bernie (& America) another rigged election. It may be our last.

@BernieOrVest Maybe if you all are in USA, you can physically go to his offices?My hunch is since it is largely a yet unknown platform, the strategists might be hesitant. I mean who know what can come of this, soldout press can dub it as "collusion with Germany" for the simple fact that the founder is German.

@goofysufi - The press is already either smearing or blacking out Bernie Sanders. We've got nothing to lose, & everything to gain, by getting Bernie out from under the social media manipulation of Bezos (Twitch) Dorsey (Twitter) & FB (Zuckerberg). For a guy who rails against billionaires, Bernie sure loves to let them control everything about our speech.

@BernieOrVest the masses consume quick news, nobody is interested in verifying facts etc. If even one channel runs that Bernie has moved to an alt-right platform, everyone will just consume it without getting into the details of gab etc. So don't you think it is a big risk given that he's already subject to unfair treatment as you mentioned?

@goofysufi - I know we need to be off Twitter to win a rigged primary. I lived through it all before. DNC steals our votes at the ballot box, then we get on Twitter to report their election fraud and get suspended by Jack. I've explored all the angles. For me, this is non-negotiable, it has to happen.

Indians of course have no right to weigh in on election frauds, we have mastered it! Our Constitutional body the Election Commission is in bed with the ruling parties!

@BernieOrVest Hi again, taking from where we left last. I was just thinking, maybe a better strategy would be to influence Bernie friendly media like TYT or someone to highlight the issues that you mention and themselves migrate. I understand that that would be hard because they too are living off followers and clicks.

@goofysufi@BernieOrVestIt doesn't make sense for media to leave Twitter but it has been obvious for years that all media outlets should work to create a social media network outside of the stranglehold of these monopolies, even just for their own selfish capitalist interests. They should be desperate for a neutral platform. And along comes the #fediverse and they ignore it. They're dumber than we thought.

This is a security risk if they plan to use Slack to defend against election fraud.QuickIy was attacked by one Berner for "spamming" Mastodon in tweets, then another accused me of "phishing". TBH, I'm not sure if they were legit Bernie people, or working for Jack. Resistance to non-corporate Mastodon is strong.😢

@wjmaggos @goofysufi @BernieOrVest To be honest, they just don't see the $ in it. People are hesitant to leave platforms behind unless something better comes along. Now Mastodon we could argue is better in some ways, but the UX is clearly behind a centralized design.

@predator8bit@goofysufi @BernieOrVestIt should be about the money they are losing. It's probably also a collective action problem. The media companies could team up to make their own #ActivityPub compliant alternatives to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc instead of accepting the decisions from big tech. It's like big media waiting around while Netflix was growing, somehow not seeing they'd eventually make their own content.
