I don't consider myself a mathy person so I'm very pleased at working out what feels like an ideal placement system for the jumpers in this 360 tour player. They're stapled to a ring around your feet at a set distance so the only position specified is offset from right in front of you. Ta-da, polar coordinates. And now I'm endlessly rubberducking everybody about it. (during implementation I discovered that n is called theta and degrees are nicer than radians for guesstimates)dork's poorly-drawn rediscovery…

and the great thing is it actually works! They always face you, too, which just uses their own negative theta, and now we can click around and explore this tiny tour, which is generated from a pile of json I hand-typed. Gonna make it easier to load different tours/levels next. Thanks A-Frametour.webm
