He's simplifying the whole issue and he's not the only or the first one. Etiology of homosexual desire is not the same for everyone and that's why the whole world still doesn't agree about "born this way" or "socially constructed" LOL and our sexuality is deeply connected to much of the other things about us, so to simplify that as a "choice" is to be intentionally and I would say blissfully (because he's heterosexual) ignorant. Maybe Alex should have apologized already and kept out of it all in the first place. @Vajazzledvagina

@cyberwanderlust @Vajazzledvagina A bit of reflective practice from Alex would not come amiss.Characterising angry disagreement and pushback as "hate" and "abuse" is illustrative of a triggered ego. Nobody "hates" Alex. Nobody is "abusing" Alex. Women, particularly lesbians, are pushing back with anger at the THINGS ALEX SAID. Two very different things.

Of course. But then there are nasty over the top comments. It is to be expected... strong feelings strong words. I once wrote here "I wish that Glinner would just drop dead" when he was behaving as a proxy for Magdalen Berns while she was dying.... and they've reported me for hate speech.
