Side note: mobile notifications are some of the worst things to ever be invented. I'd love it if I could just get a badge in my status bar telling me I should check some application when I have time, instead of banners for every notification getting in my face.I'd turn them off, but then I'd leave things for days or weeks without response and that's just not a good solution.

honestly, it's bad enough sometimes that I get irrationally frustrated with the person trying to talk to me just because their stupid notifications keep popping up and I'm not doing that right now, I'm doing this other thing, leave me the hell alone!

@architect Agreed, all types of notifications frustrate me, mobile/desktop/browser. I can't believe why actual technical people would design things like this.On mobile, I have it to turn off automatically until noon. It has worked well for my case.

@architect That's true! I set my phone to make no sound or vibrations when it gets a notification. That reduces the distraction when I'm not using it.
