       @jamie Not the view from my house, either. 😃 The walk along the canal is nice. My "not bad" comment was in reference to the weather. We have had weeks of grim weather, and it made a nice change to have some sunshine.

       @wrdwoose Well, the water in the burn will be very clean, as is the canal path and surrounding area. I'm not so sure about the canal water. Lots of "pleasure cruisers" use the canal, and I do wonder where their waste goes. I might be wrong, perhaps it is stored on-board.

       @fitheach i just keep expecting that rotating 45 deg in any direction from where you shot those, there would be electrical relay stations, factory smoke, highways, the odd bit of trash or crusty derelict appliance littering the promenade, and so on.i must simply be oversaturated lately, and should plan a good open walk. :)

       @wrdwoose No, none of those things. At the lower levels there are fields with sheep and cattle. Above the fields are hills,and fresh air.
