There have been four violent attacks on Jews in New York in the last month including this one where an Orthodox man was assaulted with a cinderblock:https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.premium-orthodox-jewish-man-assaulted-with-brick-in-n-y-c-park-1.7761701If this is a surprise to you, ask yourself why you don't hear more about these attacks, or why so many media outlets are calling these attacks "possible bias" rather than hate crime. You can change this. You can get the word out. Don't let these attacks go without attention.

If you're wondering why Jews are under attack so much, then I suggest you think about this artcicle about how Jews are mobilizing once again to fight against the ICE raids, just as we fought for the civil rights for blacks in the 1960s:https://972mag.com/ice-raids-never-again-action-american-jews/142741/This is part of Jewish law. Helping those in need is a higher commandment than even praising God according to Jewish law:https://reformjudaism.org/learning/torah-study/ki-tavo/commandment-love-and-help-strangerPeople who have compassion to others as a core value are dangerous to facism.

@emacsen It's terrible that Rabbi Gopin was attacked. Jews should be proud of their commitment to justice. That being said, the attack on Rabbi Gopin was not necessarily by a fascist sympathiser. @mpjgregoire There are many ways to attack someone.I don't think that the attacks in Brooklyn were political, but I do think they're part of a larger rise of antisemitism in the US, fueled by those who have something to gain by pushing Jews to the fringe. This includes the Right, including President Trump, who called into question the "loyalty" of American Jews, and some in the Left, who have begun classifying the Star of David a hate symbol.
