       wow I am really surprised by how many people in my mentions are defending fairphone’s advertisement of google services. you actually think we are just developing this alternative infrastructure just for our in circle?

       @liaizon yeah i'm not surprised. the fairphone has alway been kind of a joke. It's just green capitalism at it's finest. Poor people are going to buy what they can afford (not the fairphone)  while some rich folks pay a premium to feel better about themselves. Don't get me wrong i love that it's repairable. but i'm still way more excited about what the pinephone could do for opensource by selling an entirely opensource device for under $200

       @switchingsocial we need to elevate the fact that there is a literal tech war at hand and that people are making grave effects on the future of free society by the software choices they make. (-says someone who just got back from a week at CCCamp lol...)
