A bedtime thought: one thing this site is helping me practice is to be less quick to judge those I disagree with (and being judgmental is hands down my worst personal flaw). It’s easy to attack the dumb opinion of some trolly dude, but when it’s a community of women all advocating for women’s rights, I find myself thinking more before leaping to criticism. There is tremendous value in the diversity of our backgrounds, ages, cultures, and experiences. None of us are 100% right or wrong about everything... we can bond over common ground while still gaining insight from other perspectives (even if the insight is to solidify a view we already held, haha).

@terven_witch thank you for this. As a community, this is a deradicalising platform. Nuance and good faith debate is allowed here so let's use it.

@Lemondrizzle @terven_witch yes, thank you from me too. One of the things i am realising as i'm in conversations here is how long i have been trying to hold a line and a boundary and how embedded that has become in me. It's been so necessary, and still is in so many spaces, and I don't want it to be my default or reflexive. So i'm thinking a lot about that too - what i would like my reflexive to be, how to understand when i'm reacting and not responding, and also how much the last 10 years have cost me, in so many ways. Really happy we're having conversations about process as well as content. Thanks again
