Look what I found in the bottom of a box that must have been moved unopened for the last five moves at least. This thing is a totally wild time capsule of where tech was heading right before the iPhone. This sucker doesn’t even have wireless. It’s designed to search the LAN for an iTunes media share and then you use a remote to navigate on the display. I’ve managed to lose the stand, the power adapter and the remote so it’s probably just trash at this point, but man it was cool when I got it.

@vector If it's like the roku streaming devices you could always find the ip address of the device and see what telnet commands you could send against it. If it gives you playback commands or options you could always make a webGUI remote or mobile phone app that relies on using those telnet functions. May not be the most practical but it'd be cool.
