       hey mastos!! wondering if you can help me out…what are some MASTODON INSTANCES 🐘 which:1. were created in the PAST YEAR2. have either OPEN or APPROVAL-BASED registrations3. are run by DECENT FOLKS4. are NOT TECH-THEMED (in word OR action)5. have at least SOME ENGLISH-language moderators and documentation (multilingualism 🆗!)reply with any and all that you know!! boosts 🆗!!

       @onethousandtwentyfour mastodon is dying but Pleroma Thrivesbut mostly it's stable & stagnant i think

       @onethousandtwentyfour Not sure how "not tech-themed" you mean... also, many new instances are choosing to use Pleroma instead, which fortunately still federates with Mastodon.I personally can recommend ichii.moe, it's small but it's started recently by someone I trust, and while there are techy people on it, that's far from the only thing it's about.
