I didn't realize that the Disney 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride no longer exists. That ride is one of my earliest memories.

@mono I've been to Tokyo Disneyland! All I really remember though was Space Mountain and a video arcade, and my host mom set me up with a "date" with my homestay brother's cousin to take us.

@moonman @mono Is the park really worth losing your place in the north korean sucession line? or has it been exaggerated?

@moonman tokyo disneysea is way cooler for adults cuz there's a lot of recreations of the classic boomer era rides and shout outs to pre-80's disney, and because it's not as aggressively disney themed as the other parks.1 rcg9VfoQd2FRnIqJ3HTxiQ.jpgb9e7f612c08103e0eb1b02742dff450…

@mono @moonman Ocean Park in Hong Kong basically ripped this off I guess. They are showing sea life and then an attacking giant squid on screens in the ceiling as you take the train (dressed up as a submarine) from the ground-level section to the up-the-hill section of the park.
