@fokkusukuron @SelfsameSynonym it is beginning to outlive it's usefulness. the purpose, ultimately, was to see how gab users would react to the presence of tankies. unfortunately, they all react exactly the same. the entertainment value is just not there.beyond this, i have encountered a sufficient number of stormers on there that i no longer feel comfortable in that environment.and, i mean, what is the point of having juche.town without gab?however, i'm willing to give over DNS and a copy of the database to whoever wants to take it over. i'm just tired of running it :)

@hushpiper yes, I agree. but that's a different scope. the entire point of juche.town was to shake up the hornet's nest and see what came out.we now know what is going on over at gab. we have seen the stormers, and we have seen the boomers, and we have seen the handful of normal people who, quite frankly, i don't understand why they are there, but okay.

@hushpiper @kaniini hiding public/federated timeline helps me when i see a lot of content i dont like. thats half the problem. as for the other half, there's no telling who will block whichever instances for whatever reason, or for no reason at all. the most i can suggest is that more people wise up to the notion that we don't need extensive blocklists to coexist; we need more communication between admins and better tools for individuals to filter out what they dont want to see. and the self-moderation tools have already come a long way
