       Needed to spend a couple of hours tonight, calming the goats. They don't mind thunder and lightning, but fireworks terrify them  Sad people set them off near livestock, who could be injured in the panic! #ヤギ #goats #July4th

       @GoatsLive Fireworks beyond the little fountains and whatnot are illegal in Jersey and I was legit surprised that even with a patchwork of states around (and I guess Pennsylvania being a big manufacturer even though they're not legal to fire them there?) there is not the huge culture of "drove over the state line to the Black Cat factory store" type thing like there was in Kansas.Not gonna lie, it's *really* nice.(I wonder how much of it is that Jersey is Rich People Horse Country? 🤔 )

       @kelbot @gamehawk @GoatsLive It's insane. They finally reduced the period of time before the 4th they're allowed to be sold to a few days beforehand, which helped. You legally can't shoot them until the 3rd but of course that is ignored.
