@art "The only unhackable computer is one which is not connected to a network and is never turned on."

@art This man *may* actually be very smart. The only product he is delivering is a t-shirt. Everything else is a "discount". If he makes his goal, he is very much very smart. Even if he doesn't, but actually gets a significant number of people backing it, that would be a pretty decent thing for him getting "supporters".

@art I kept reading it waiting for the revelation that it would be a cardboard box with pictures on it to look like a computer. then I got to this sentence:"My plan is to build the Unhackable Computer in the first three months."and then I LOLed so hard I scared the cats.

@art How did he get a patent on this? Unhackable computers have existed for forever.

@artThis is satire, right? Did someone see a news piece about the auctioned-off laptop full of tons of malware and get a brilliant idea?

@art Even that could be hacked. The addition or removal of a bead, would (if not detected) result in incorrect answers. But it's getting pretty close...

@art Oh I needed a good laugh this morning. He's so serious. Those pesky hackers. It's so unhackable, he explicitly says "If a virus gets in ...". Obviously, a virus can't get in. So why tell us what to do when it does?

@art Putting that ridiculously asinine claim aside, the patented technology it keeps boasting seems suspiciously similar to Apple's T2 security chip.

@art Ridiculous This is about as absurd as these software vendors claiming that their code "contained no algorithms of any kind"

@art It's patented, so it must be good. But I'm questioning the usefulness of a computer that can't reach the network glued to a computer that can. And one with a custom OS to boot.

@art So simple: Glue shut the USB & Ethernet ports, remove wifi, bluetooth, camera, microphone, have only ROM-installed software, and don't allow any compiler, interpreter, or Turing-complete software. So basically a typewriter.

🇬🇧💻 @art I could have believed the unhackable computer, but the 870k$ goal soulds like 174 times exagerated to me.

@art I thought this toot was a joke or a reference to a parent from the 1940s or something. I'm kinda sad now.
