       I didn't realize how central to my feelings about Jupiter the Great Red Spot is until I learned we might be in its last days now!https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/jupiter-great-red-spot-1.5154387I knew that it hadn't always been there, that early telescopes didn't see it (I loved that fact). So I shouldn't be surprised it's going. I also knew other jovian features disappear https://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2010/20may_loststripe But I still am a little sad about it!
