I did an oopsie and placed / on sd0b instead of sd0a, now I'm forced to manually issue "boot hd0b:/bsd" comma every time I reboot. Is there a way to force boot(8) to read sd0b instead?I tried adding "set device hd0b" in /etc/boot.conf but it gets ignored :/

@gsora 1. Make a backup. 2. Edit disk label to assign correct letters. Partitions do not need to be in order, but there's enough magic assumptions around certain letters I think you will want that fixed rather than worked around.

@tedu can I change disklabel letters? I don't see any option to do that.Or you're referring to just delete the partition and recreate them with the correct letters?

@gsora right. Write down the numbers, offsets and sizes, delete the trouble partitions, recreate with same numbers and new letters. It's both simple and dangerous.
