Math is not hard. The great majority of "math illiterate" people (myself included) are the byproduct of badly written books and incompetent teachers.

@Gargron loving it so far. It's short but all around pretty good. Have you heard it yet?

Welp, looks like my #Jolla device has been definitely bricked. Doesn't boot anymore, and the recovery system asks for an unlock PIN, which I never even set on the OS itself. Looks like there's still no way of manually flashing the device via Fastboot... Sadly I didn't unlock the bootloader back in the days, so I'm not able to boot a custom-made ramdisk. If anybody knows someone/something that would help me getting this thing back alive again, it would be great.

@js that doesn't make any sense. This kind of conversations are a common occurrence on Reddit. I stopped using FOSS-minded subreddits because of this. Seeing this shit all over the fediverse is saddening...

@js i'm starting to think it isn't worth self-hosting it... I'm having memory and performance issues. But Riot web surely is beautiful!

@aleks @js IIRC there are multiple matrix server implementations besides Synapse in the works. As long as the protocol remains the same, I don't see a problem with this phenomenon.

@bugaevc at least he didn't just delete the project or vanish from GitHub!Tilix is awesome, I wish I had the technical skills needed to contribute to the development process.

I did an oopsie and placed / on sd0b instead of sd0a, now I'm forced to manually issue "boot hd0b:/bsd" comma every time I reboot. Is there a way to force boot(8) to read sd0b instead?I tried adding "set device hd0b" in /etc/boot.conf but it gets ignored :/

@sir got distracted by exams, I see another user already reviewed the README. I left some suggestions anyway. Sorry for the delay!

@piggo are you using an ad-blocking DNS? I had the same issue, and was using adguard DNS-over-HTTPS. Turns out Android 9 resolver segfaults randomly with that thing turned on.
