       @gazelle ok, so you start out with a pillow? and then at some point during sleep, you say "fuck this" and get the pillow out of there? is it a conscious decision?

       @healyn that's basically how it goes. Like I toss and turn until I eventually play with variations of propping my head with a little blanket or throwing the pillow off the bed or using my arm or something

       @gazelle As somebody who frequently sleeps with too many pillows (like seriously it messes with my sleep sometimes), your non-pillow sleeping inspires my respect.

       @gazelle interesting. do you feel like you get a better sleep without a pillow? i toss and turn sometimes too, but if i get rid of the pillow i feel like i'll probably injure myself somehow

       @healyn Healyn I'm a strong slav my ancestors slept in wheat fields and drank goat milk straight from the tit and played soccer with giant rocks we found in ancient salt mines, I will overcome Western pillow dependence.

       @gazelle yeah, my bf insisted I’d change my mind if I tried memory foam pillows. I didn’t. I feel like I sleep a lot better without one tbh
