Wishing I'd taken the time to read the lume source code / function reference earlier. So many useful things. #fennel #lua

@alexjgriffith it's really a great swiss-army-knife tool; loads of goodness there. I have also been meaning to check out https://luafun.github.io/ but it's more focused on table manipulation and a little less general.

@technomancy I've been using luafun in a lot of stuff for awhile, and have been curious about lume but haven't tried it, so if you end up checking out luafun I'd be curious to hear your take on their similarities and differences.

@doesntgolf my first impression is that lume has a bunch of general things that are useful, and luafun focuses specifically on functional operations for collections only.I haven't done much pure-FP styled coding on the Lua runtime yet (my programs have all been <1kloc so they fit in my head easily even with side-effects, or easy to split into a number of small codebases that fit in my head) but I am eager to give it a try if I can find a project that's a good fit for it.
