       Finally offered the roommate position to someone I really hit it off with. Met up with them Friday, again Sunday, and then phoned references and offered them the apartment first thing after work today. Just got back an email saying he was going to move back in with his family to save money and apologized for the timing. I....REALLY hope that is the truth and I didn't just come off badly when meeting HIM?

       @Canageek :( I'm sure you didn't though; sounds like a situation where he was juggling some life stuff and that's just how it rolled.
