Love waking up every morning in a panic about whether my shoulder is permanently fucked up or if I just slept on it weird OR BOTH

@stunt_bird same but I'm a mail carrier and sometimes putting that heavy satchel on makes it stop hurting and sometimes it's significantly worse.

@Alexmay I sleep on my stomach with my arms over my head which is DEFINITELY fucking my shoulders up but I’m also pretty sure I have some kind of rotator cuff thing going on

@stunt_bird that's a pretty revolutionary sleep position! Ok i was thinking of this but it sounds like that's not the cause https://www.sports-health.com/blog/your-sleep-position-harming-your-rotator-cuff

@stunt_bird however my experience is that shoulder problems take months to get better and sometimes it can feel like they never will. Plus they come back easily.

@Alexmay I’ve been having issues off and on for like a year, did a really rough mountain bike ride last weekend and it flared up really bad, hoping it’s just inflamed and not torn or anything. Ortho Tuesday, fingers crossed I can still ride!

@stunt_bird hope it helps. Ibuprofen, gentle stretching, and no overworking exercise are the key to recovery i reckon
