       [C-x] * # Readline keystroke tip: One way you can exclude items from a glob match is to expand the greater matching glob (ie. *) with Ctrl-x * and then just manually remove the items you don't want.

       @climagic Not working for me in bash. ☹️ Though in zsh's line editor ZLE I can achieve the same when simply pressing Tab:$ ls *<Tab>$ ls foo bar baz qux
