@sajith I haven't wet my feet on ‘using’ docker yet, either. And then there's rkt, podman, kubernetes... I am not even using Cockpit or FleetCommander yet, also because the number of systems I've administer still counts in one hand. But yes, you and I will have to embrace the containers sooner than we’d like to.

@rajeesh I too don't know any of those things. I need to manage a small number of servers. I tried Cockpit and didn't see how it can help me, so I left it at that. I did not know about Fleet Commander.I need to learn Ansible or Puppet or some such, and I'm not sure which one would serve be best. I have been considering GNU Guix as well.https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/blog/2015/container-provisioning-with-guix/But I always end up in a state of analysis paralysis, just by thinking about these things.
