       @Secondary_world realistically it's probably never going to be "solved" in the sense that it's an inevitable byproduct of so many people mixing together. the best we can hope for is that tensions are resolved quickly without dogpiling, which depends on each individual taking responsibility for their words and actions. community-owned instances might help to create safeguards, but could still be easily manipulated if people want to be shitty.
