       @technomancy is there anything existing to convert lua code to fennel? A quick search seems to indicate it's not the case, I guess it could be an interesting week-end project.

       @mpenet that sounds like a very cool project! take a look at the metalua codebase; it's got a parser that you could use. Shviller in the #fennel channel on freenode knows a lot about that.

       @technomancy @mpenet this: https://github.com/andremm/lua-parser/ might also be worth a look, since I suspect metalua didn't get updated to Lua 5.3's new operators (i may be wrong tho)
