Since I saw posts on old hardware... I have no idea when this little guy was bought, earliest reviews are from 2009, but I've had it for about 2 years before it served a company for about 5 years. Thanks to linux it runs perfectly for daily use. I can browse, write blog posts, scripts and even play some low end games. It also has a SSD. It weights just 1kg and it's always my first choice for short trips.

@malin I used to run Fedora lxde on it but now I switched to Ubuntu. Honestly I would prefer running Void, since on old crappy netbooks with just 1gb of RAM it has them cruising. But honestly I don't wanna go through compiling LaTeX and more again lol

@semordnilap I downloaded LaTeX in the Void repos. Couldn't get the packages you want?

@malin Really? Thanks for the heads up, last time I used Void it was about a year ago, I honestly do not remember why I ended up compiling LaTeX from source, I just remember I did. If all the rest I need is in the repo as well then I'm probably going to reinstall it.

@semordnilap https://voidlinux.org/packages/I got all the important things I need in the 64-bit version. Other versions have less support.
