thinking back to a time on birdsite when i was arguing with a fascist (yes i know) and they argued that radicals going into Syria to help the Kurds fight daesh was imperialist and another anarchist QT'd my response to call me an imperialist, implicitly siding with the fascist and daesh

@Cyclideon regrettably, there have been far too many empires. it's too easy to tangle everything and turn someone with perfectly good, workable ideals into a tyrant.

@pippasaidwhat i'd say lots of empires have been founded on ideas of supremacy and lust for power & resources, but it shows nonetheless that power/authority is a poison and it should disappear
