Hello fellow members of the #UCU! If you have received a strike ballot, can I encourage you to fill it out and return it? If you're planning on not returning it, because you're not sure you want to strike, please just vote 'no' instead. Not returning it is like double-voting no because of the rather draconian rules about participation percentage. (If those rules had been applied to referendums, Brexit would have failed by default!)

@shit If you're not sure and are planning to abstain, then double voting 'no' isn't advancing your interests?  Also, unions are supposed to be democratic and I'd say it goes against the spirit of the union to exploit a government anti-union initiative in order to advance your view. People who want to vote no, should just vote no.
