I don't do twitter anymore, but I noticed on another network our national news agency linked to this tweet from an Avian Palaeontologist who is studying a dead male Cassowary. Just in case any of you weren't aware of Australia's (and New Guinea), closest thing to a dinosaur and why, despite being herbivorous, they're still called Prehistoric Death Birds here. #AustralianWildlife #PrehistoricDeathBird #Cassowary

@dadegroot non-Australians are always like "how do you live with all the spiders/snakes/???" but I'm just glad I'm about as far as can be from a Cassowary habitat while still; being in Australia.
