Ever sink hours into a script problem, then one day you go back to it and you find there's one missing character to blame, and conclude that it's not possible to read slowly enough to code anything ever?

@malinYup, though fortunately, simple linter plugins like Ale help catch those kinds of blunders pretty quickly

@malin everytime I try to script. That's why I like to use the python CLI cause you can just test everything line by line

@cyrillico Not quite everything. My command 'rsync -a thing person@thing/place/' was a valid command... it's just not what I wanted. I wanted the -u flag, indicating 'Don't delete newer info'.Vim's got nice tags for this, but there's no programs testing for 'That thing I want you to do'.

@architect Ain't no testing for what you want. I put in a valid command, it's just not the effect I wanted.
