I know that people run away from Twitter to get out of DSA inter-drama but I'm a dues-paying DSA member, I appreciate a lot of the stuff that various locals have done, but boy do I dislike DSA national lmao.

@kropotkhristian it boggles me most of the time that this isn't the case. Just like -- how could it not be.(Incidentally, in church governance... this is true in many ways for Mennonite churches. There's some oversight, but in 1985 my DC church felt empowered to vote 96% ayes to admit partnered gay men and never looked back on that trend... because it was entirely local discernment, despite national church)
