       There are times when I'm surprised that people are still using FB, etc, but then I remember that there are still active users on G+ and I am reminded that inertia is one of the most powerful forces in the universe.

       @theartguy I use Facebook for two things: messenger and events. I plan on setting up a Matrix/Riot bridge so I don't have to use their messenger interface, and I want to start syncing that calendar with my Radicale (CalDav) server so I don't need to check FB for events. I've got too many international friends with no other means of communication, to give up on FB. The entire #DeleteFacebook campaign was more of a political move against Fuckerburge anyway:https://fightthefuture.org/article/facebook-politics-and-orwells-24-7-hate/
