@marmite i mean i've never had stability issues with arch :blobcat: you can use debian testing for a slightly less outdated experience

@lynnesbian Testing doesn’t get security patches properly, I use both Debian Stable, Fedora and Mac OS. Arch is a nightmare that needs far too much messing around with, I’ve tried to use it fair few times but I’m just unhappy and it takes too much work when I just want to use my computer

@lynnesbian my arch laptop that I saved all my money to buy got broken by my mum in 2010 because my login manager didn’t start and she wanted to check some tax things and got angry. Big cri

@marmite @lynnesbian have you tried Antergos?it's mostly vanilla Arch, but with a graphical setup and some sane default desktop options

@starlitghost @lynnesbian I don’t like any rolling release distro, I don’t want or need that many updates. All I want is some basic dev tools and my computer to always (always) work
