so here's a background story.grandfather Was mescalero who just up and walked away from the bullshit.Ended up in rural KY.had nothing but a few friends and a barn to live in.set up a still in that barn during prohibition and stole a load of corn to make whiskey with.sold that whiskey and started making more with the profits....Bought 150 acres during the depression, and started a farm. Settled down and started a family.Other side of the family, Appalachian coal miners.Unionizers.The tendency to rock the boat in my family has always been taught as a skillset and cultivated.Authority is usually out to screw you... exploit that.

@TheGibson that's pretty awesome! I don't think anyone in my family ever did anything awesome, unless you count my grandfather who was in the Navy in WW2. I'll have to ask my dad who has all the geneology worked out. Here's hoping I do something awesome with my life.

@TheGibson Also strikes me that rocking the boat in a tactically mindful way comes hand in hand with teaching good critical thinking skills. Something a lot of people lack by default coming out of the American education system.

@feoh I liken it chaotic good tendencies.I'll follow your laws, and help people to the length of my tether.Unless your laws are unjust. Then I'll actively undermine them to show the foolishness.

@msh It's funny, because in some capacity, I have experienced nearly everything in this song in some way.It wasn't a Dodge... but it was a Pontiac.
