An annoyance about the IBM PCjr: this fucking key.

For those that aren't aware of what's going on here...The PCjr has a very truncated 62-key keyboard with only 62 keys. Many keys are hidden behind modifiers - F1 through F10 are Fn+1 through Fn+0, the navigation keys are Fn+arrows, various keys are mixed into the layout... and then there's the ` and \ keys.` is replaced with Alt+', and ~ with Alt+]. OK, fine, whatever, those aren't used that incredibly often on DOS.However, \ is replaced with Alt+/, and | with Alt+[. (I also got | with Alt+Shift+/ (it's normally available at Shift+\), but that's not the important part.)\ is a character used a ridiculous amount of the time on a DOS 2.x+ machine, which the PCjr is, seeing as it's the path separator... and they put it under a modifier? Aargh.

@bhtooefr The Tandy 1000, of course, gets this right. And by "right," I mean even more worryingly wrong.

@seatsafetyswitch You know, I'd give it a pass because it's using a keyboard from a different machine... but that different machine is the Tandy 2000, which is also a MS-DOS machine - although PC-incompatible - and the Tandy 2000 very much does not get a pass.

@DialMforMara There's multiple colors of modifiers, the color scheme IBM chose to use was red for Esc (which isn't a modifier), green for Fn, and blue for Alt.This is blue (which the camera didn't pick up very well), so you used Alt with the / key to get \.
